DG's Expectation of service
- As an Executive Officer, it is important that our district leaders always project a positive image to all cabinet officers. It is ok to vent any frustrations at an Executive Meeting and is welcomed as this can in turn help solve pain points within our District.
- Dismissing the importance of such a role will only lead to member dissatisfaction and ultimately disengagement with the District as a whole, making it harder for future leaders to attract members to take part in this important administrative role.
- Confidentiality - Any discussion between the Executive Officers is NOT to be shared with any other Lion outside this Executive, if you wish for someone else to know about any topic covered - approval from DG to do so is required.
- All outwards correspondence on behalf of the district within your Role as Vice DG is required to be CC to Cabinet Secretary.
- Most important of them all we must always remember we are in Lions for the Community, not for our own agenda. I only ask that when ever you are considering any topic, you consider how it impacts our community, and not make life difficult for others and make any cabinet role harder.
- Project consisitent message to all Lions that we are a Lion because we want to Serve the Community!
